Details

The Freerider is based on the Cafe Racer design. We designed the Freerider as an option for those who wanted a looser fit to our SB Vintage Racer and we also added a few design features to keep it simple but functional for either motoring or socialising.

The Freerider is roomier in the chest and shoulders and incorporates side adjusters to pull in at the waist if preferred. The zip sleeve is exposed and constructed in a way to make it less bulky. We have added shoulder gussets to the two piece back to aid movement in place of a full bi- swing back, very functional but simplistic in it's design.

As standard the Freerider has one zipped handwarmer and chest pocket with a classic D pocket on the opposite side. The pocket arrangement can be changed to the two chest/two handwarmer classic Cafe Racer configuration.

The collar is the classic one stud style but we can apply the one stud snap over style if preferred.

Every jacket comes with one studded inside pocket.

If you have any other queries about custom designs or alterations please feel free to contact info@simmonsbilt.com or go to our custom options page.

We request your measurements for all our jackets so we can select the best size for you from our standard size range. Sleeve and Body length can be adjusted if required.

Due to the nature of the natural raw materials we use and the traditional method of manufacture we employ it is not always possible to meet exact measurement requirements. The products we build are not designed to be tailored like a suit, they will after a "break in" period soften and mold to the shape of your own body, our jackets are built to be worn.

We do not use a production line system or have racks of jackets ready to ship, each and every jacket is made to order, individually handcrafted here in Scotland by one of our specialists.

Bespoke patterns can be created if preferred, please contact us direct with specifications for a full quote.
